In threes...

Endings of which the news has come my way in the past 24 hours:

- The death of a dear friend's noble and beloved old cat (many, many hugs!)

- The ending of an old friend's year-long relationship (sad sad sad)

- And, far less significantly: the last breath, at a rose garden geocache, of my GPS. New one being located ASAP.

mva has been selling golf balls up in lake tahoe at my parent's house. they live on the 18th tee of a golf course. anyway, she went up there with only one thing in mind to buy with the money. a GPS device. in three days, she has over $90. she is there for another 11 days!!!

Wow, what an impressively determined kid! I'm glad the sport made such a good impression on her.

You actually wore out your gps? That's pretty impressive. I thought those things always died at the bottom of a drawer rather than in the field.

on both of us. i was talking with another parent at the gym while waiting for our children to get out of class.... she said that i sounded very enthusiastic about geocaching and i gave her the website..... she is looking for something fun and outdoorsy to do with her son. i think geocaching is perfect!!!

i want to go again.... :-) [need my 'fix']!!!

Well, it was used when I bought it, on ebay. It worked well 3 months ago, but in the past 2 weeks it began to act up a lot.
