I came home tonight to find that Emmett had replaced some of our regular light bulbs with colored ones, in dreamy shades of violet and blue. There was also an airplane in the living room. A remote control airplane, with which he was holding the cats' rapt attention. Preia, of course, is convinced that the new toy is for her.

Airport shuttle recommendations?

Hi folks,

So, I have a friend who is arriving into Oakland Airport at 4:30pm on Thursday, and she needs to be in Los Altos by 7:00pm. What shuttle/cab service do folks recommend I have her take between the two points? It does not appear that she has enough of a time margin to do the public transit options, and I'm unable to pick her up myself due to work commitments.

(Yes, she knows that SJC is closer to Los Altos, but it seems that her fare is lower enough into OAK to justify the cost of a shuttle).
