2,500 miles away
Nov. 22nd, 2004 12:43 amSo I landed safely in NYC this evening, after a pretty smooth flight. I expected more turbulence leaving the Bay Area - what was it with all that wind today and last night?
Had yummy Chinese/Japanese takeout for dinner with my parents - avocado maki, edamame, gyoza, and cold sesame noodles. I hadn't eaten all day before that - for some reason, I was feeling nauseous for much of the day. But my appetite is back with a vengeance now, and I'm contemplating raiding the leftovers shortly.
I installed Ad-Aware on my parents' computer tonight, and I'm thinking of installing a pop-up blocker on their IE web browser next. Are there any that give you an explicit option to view the pop-up window if it's a functional part of the site that you are currently viewing? My parents aren't that web-savvy, and I don't want them to have to intuitively figure out that they need to disable the pop-up blocker in order to navigate the features of a website that they do want to use.
Hey, Emmett - 194 hours 'til we see each other next! *kiss*
