They do have a way of winning you over...
Jun. 4th, 2007 09:49 amSo we're keeping the exceedingly cute 6-week-old kitten Lancelot in one of the bathrooms, as we don't want him to meet the older cats yet - also we don't want to lose him in the nooks and crannies of this wonderful big house.
All of us are taking turns going into the bathroom and hanging out with the little guy... I've got the laptop in the bathroom here as I type (yay wireless), and him on my shoulder, with a tail currently waving in my face ;-)
The little one gets lonely and tends to cry when we leave the room. Last night after I tucked him in and left the bathroom, I said to my housemate, "I am tempted to drag one of the futons in there so I can sleep in there and cuddle him overnight." Housemate gave me a "you're weird, hon" look.
Woke up this morning and took the laptop across the house to go sit with the kitten again, passing housemate in the kitchen en route. "Be careful where you step in there," she said. She went on to explain, "Well, he was crying in the night... and so I brought a sleeping bag and blanket in there..." *Grin* Uh-huh...
