Hairspray!

Today I went with patgreene, echidnaboy, and pokedavid to see the latest remake of the movie Hairspray.

I definitely recommend it! There were some good new twists to the plotline, an excellent lesson on early '60's civil rights issues for the kids, and breathtaking chemistry and sweetness between Christopher Walken's and John Travolta's characters (the latter in drag) - I think those two stole the show.
