Along the shore there were these dried mud beds, all crackled and separated in the heat.


I couldn't resist walking on them. The ones closer to the grassline were very dry and hard, like solid ground. Then the ones a bit further out felt like those spongy playground mats, solid but with a bit of sproing. Closer to the shore, though...
