Sacramento Train Museum

Today, at the suggestion of 15-year-old pokedavid, we went to the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento, as the first part of our road trip.

One of the highlights of the museum is a train ride in an open-air car, which takes you up the river a ways, and then demonstrates the switching of the engine from the front to the rear of the train. Here are brian1789, patgreene, and the boys on the train:
