Caye Caulker Snorkeling

On Saturday, Mom and I went snorkeling at Caye Caulker, which has dreamily blue waters off of its shores. The corals and fish are lovely, and we got to see small sharks and large stingrays up close.

Here are some rays, surfacing in a lovely jumble of fins. I enjoyed watching how they move along the sandy bottom of the gulf... the undulations in their fins propel them along. Sometimes they stay buried in the sand, and you just see the faint outline...
