In honor of Hanukkah...

Just got done writing the following letter to the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce:

I notice that a Christmas tree has been put up in the downtown stores area of Murphy Square here in Sunnyvale. As a Jewish business proprietor here in downtown Sunnyvale, I would like to request that you also put up a menorah in honor of this week's Hanukkah holiday - as well as other seasonal cultural symbols that would represent other members of our diverse local community. Perhaps some Diwali lights and Kwanzaa lights as well? And perhaps in a month, a lovely dragon for our Asian residents' lunar new year. Thank you so much for considering helping to have our downtown be truly reflective of the people within it.
