I seen the lights go down at Safeway...
Nov. 2nd, 2003 10:51 pmWell, whee... we just had the first blackout of the season. Our whole hillside went dark for a few hours. With rather little provocation, I might add... there was a small rainshower, but nothing like the 60 mph ocean gusts that usually do us later in the rainy season.
Earlier, we went out to dinner at Pasta Moon in Half Moon Bay with Emmett's parents. It's a nice restaurant... I had butternut squash ravioli in walnut sauce for dinner, and passionfruit parfait for dessert. Oh, the parfait was something else... soft sugary burnished meringue atop tangy sorbet, with a fruity caramel thread running through the whole. Delicious!
Am pleasantly drowsy now... LJ I think, and then bed. Yawn...

OK, that's just the epitome of geek. I'm sorry, but that's all that there is to say.
