Entrancing contraption...

So Emmett made Preia very, very happy today. He strung a wide piece of burlap high up across the living room, which she can use as a hammock, a walkway, a perch, or a place to bat around her toys. The cat thinks it's the best thing since tall grass, and possibly better... she frolicked around in it lots, and concentrated *hard* to figure out ways to get up there by herself, and after she tired herself out playing she just sat looking up at it with this perfectly contented expression.



She's also a happy kitten today because Emmett and I welcomed her back into the bedroom, now that both of our allergies are (YAY!) under control. It is so sweet to have her sleeping with us again.

What a great picture. I would make one of those for Sam, but he would insist on being placed in it. He does not enjoy climbing.
Preia look so much like our old cat Gypsy. She is very pretty.

Preia does love climbing, and has enough kittenish energy to propel her everywhere she can reach. This morning we woke up and she'd climbed to the highest bedroom shelf and was cheerfully peering down at us and surveying her domain. "If she knocks over the lamp she is in *such* trouble," mumbled Emmett. So far no damage there... fingers crossed...

Wow, waking up to this made me smile! :-) Yes, we'd love a bouncing adorable brilliant seductive creamy-gold-colored kitty with lively eyes as our next cat.

Of course, you're all ready beautiful and adored, and if you are wanting more snuggles, do come visit us in California and we can snuggle you LOTS! Been way too long since...

I am planning to come to the left coast for the North American Bi Conference in August while I am recuperating from my hip surgery. Will you be there for Pounce treats and snuggles?

Snugglefest yes! Definitely come visit us! We live near San Francisco, which is some 500 miles from the conference... of course, perhaps we should come to the conference ourselves... but either way, let's make plans.

And yes, Preia will share her Pounce with you. If you skritch her behind her ears and make her purr.
