emmett_the_sane and I went to Shangri-La for dinner tonight. It's a kosher, vegetarian Chinese restaurant in San Francisco, at 2026 Irving St (in the Sunset district).
We got some good stuff:
- A soup of vegetarian lamb and wolfberries, in panax/ginseng broth.
- A spicy curried vegetable tofu dish, with rice
- A black sesame sweet cream soup for dessert
The grand total was
$14 + tip! And the meal felt really balanced, nutrient-wise. I felt *good* inside after eating it.
