Following in the footsteps of the two b'girls (Browngirl and Britgeekgrrl), here are 10 things I'm grateful for:

1. Emmett, who is a wonderfully loving and supportive partner, and who is brimming with creative projects these days, and who just made us sesame toast with manouri cheese for breakfast :-)
2. Our cat, who is a little love, and how well she's recovered from surgery a week later
3. The fact that I'm employed, when so many around me aren't
4. A panoramic ocean view right from the front window
5. My friends
6. Feeling my energy gradually returning
7. That my fairy godfather Steven is feeling healthier these days and is able to work again
8. The ability to set my own work schedule
9. The cookbook that Emmett's mom gave me, which not only has 1000 vegetarian recipes, but which has a luscious-looking photo-illustration of each one!
10. Livejournal, which lets me keep up with the participating friends' lives better than any topic-themed email list or our own slowness to write specifically to one another would.
