Friday night

A group of us went to celebrate apollolee's birthday tonight at Taqueria Pancho Villa on 16th and Valencia, where they have inexpensive but excellent authentic mex cuisine. I got a whopping grilled veggie taco and some tamarind soda for just a few bucks, and other folks had burritos "as big as your head!" Well, almost. Then we went to a dance place called Liquid down the street. I enjoyed the dancing, and had good stamina tonight... good enough to outlast emmett_the_sane on the dance floor. But Emmett and I both began the evening tired, so we called it quits early. We stopped at Arinell's before leaving the Mission... Arinell's is one of the few places on this coast that does justice to NY-style pizza. Ran into Shauna from Boston there, too.

Here at home Emmett and I have been teaching the Preia-cat how to open partly-closed doors. It's about time she knew how, and there's no motivator like a pounce niblet placed just out of reach on the other side of the door. She got it in not too many tries :-)

Very very yawny now, so bedtime soon...

Thanks for coming out. I had a blast. We took off about 2am (I can dance all night, but I was okay with bailing early). Kaskade played some amazing music, and I had a great time. One of my best birthdays ever.
