Thrilling Emmett...

Warm fuzzy of the morning:

emmett_the_sane put an english muffin in the toaster this morning, and right after he did, the guy who he picks up at the train station to carpool to work with phoned to say that he was ready to be picked up. Emmett was all ready running a bit late for that, so in frustration he left the muffin for me and gathered his stuff and went.

But right as the door locked, the muffin popped up ready. And I know that Emmett takes a few moments to warm up his venerable old car before he leaves. So I grabbed the muffin and buttered it, wrapped it in a paper towel, threw on a dress, remembered my keys, and ran upstairs to give it to him right before he pulled away. He was soooo happy! :-) Just called me a bit ago to thank me again. Well, and to get the traffic report.
