Kittercizing!

I need more exercise, Preia needs more active play time. So I'm gonna try to spend at least a few minutes a day tossing balls around the apartment with her. It's exercise for me, 'cause she hasn't learned to fetch or bat them back, despite our dilligent attempts to teach our little soccer-star how to return 'em.

A small thing, but I think it will make a difference to us both. Or at least to the number of times that we come home from work to find the roll of toilet paper cheerfully shredded across the carpet. "Hi Mommy and Daddy! How was your day? I was *bored!*"

I don't know if you've ever caught her in the act, but one of my kitties is a shredder and it's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Not so much fun to clean up though . . .

It *is* rather cute when she does that. In a bit of role reversal, I'm the lax parent who's more likely to coo and snap pictures when she's naughty; emmett_the_sane is the one who sets more limits and boundaries with her, though he dotes lavishly upon her as well.
