Fire-breathing
Sep. 19th, 2002 10:53 pmEmmett brought me home some Indian food from Santa Cruz tonight, which was really sweet of him to do :-) It was yummy, though it pushed a bit past the limits of my hot-n-spicy tolerance - I am feeling very full now after downing it plus a whole glass of soothing cold milk.
Work went well - good sessions, more paperwork checked off the to-do list. I also found out the outcome of a moral-dilemma situation at work. I made the best decision I could, and then I asked my supervisor to review the details and have the final say. He upheld my original choice, which felt both good and sad - good because my logic was affirmed, and sad because our choice will result in some serious consequences for a 3rd party. (Yup, I'm being intentionally vague here, for confidentiality reasons). I *am* relieved to have some closure to the situation, which has been distressing me for some days.
Tomorrow I have off :-) Will likely veg around the house in the day, and go out someplace nice with Emmett in the eve. Oh yes, and laundry. Must do the laundry.
Yawn and to bed,
Geri
